Rose water is a natural toner for your skin. Use it as a skin cleanser by dabbing some rose water on a cotton ball and wiping your face with it. This removes the dirt and grime, and gives your face a natural glow.
Rose water is known for its anti-inflammatory properties. Clean your face with it, or use it in your bathing water to reduce the redness, occurrence of acne, pimples, and other such breakouts.
Rose water has astringent-like properties. Dab a little rose water after steaming your face, as it helps in tightening the capillaries, reducing redness, and possible blotchiness.
Rose water can help reduce dark circles too. Place rose water-soaked cotton balls on your eyes for 15 minutes before going to bed. The fragrance of rose water relaxes the mind, and its inherent coolness relaxes the skin too. This, in turn, helps in reducing under eye puffiness.

To make this face pack, you will need 2 tablespoons of sandalwood powder and 1 tablespoon of rose water. Mix the two together to make a thick paste. Wash your face with warm water to open the pores. Now apply the paste, and let it sit for 15 to 20 min, till it dries out. Once dry, wash it with cold water. For best results, use this pack at least twice a week.

Rose water face wash washes off the dirt and bacteria from your face, which prevents acne. To make this face wash, mix 2 ml each of hazelnut essential oil, tea tree oil, sweet fennel essential oil, 300 ml water, and 100 ml of rose water. Shake well to mix all ingredients together. The oil will float on top of the water, when you store it. So shake it well before use. Pour some on a cotton ball or pad, and dab it on your face, thrice a day.

Soak about a handful of fenugreek seeds in a bowl of water. Let them soak overnight. Grind them in a mixer the next day, and make a fine paste out of them by adding water, if you need to. Add about 2 tablespoons of rose water, and mix it well. Wash your face with warm water to open the clogged pores. Pat dry your face, and apply the paste. Let it dry for 15 to 20 minutes. Once it dries out, wash it with cold water.

Lemon juice is an effective remedy for acne. Since, it contains AHA or alpha hydroxy acids, it helps in sloughing off dry skin. To make a mix of lemon juice and rose water, extract juice from one lemon. Add equal quantity of rose water to it, and mix the two well. Wash your face with warm water to open the pores, and apply this mixture on the affected area. Let it sit for 10 minutes. Run a patch test if you want, since the citric acid in lemon juice can burn/irritate the skin. Wash your face with cold water, once the application dries out. This mixture is great for getting rid of blackheads, pimples, and wrinkles.
